Beaconsfield Lodge

About

The founders of the Lodge came from a wide variety of occupations ranging from: An Egg Merchant, Bank Clerk, Button Manufacture, Warehouseman, Merchants Clerk and Butcher.
They were brought together at the “Chequers” by a friendly fraternity and shared interests in the principles of freemasonry and its charitable aims.
Over a hundred years later members are still attracted to the lodge for the same reasons and from a wide range of occupations: Insurance Broking, IT professionals, Facilities Management, Air Conditioning Installation and Local Authority employees.

Like our forbearers, we have been brought together by shared interests, the friendly atmosphere and the warm welcome all receive when visiting the Lodge.
Beaconsfield Lodge is a growing lodge who welcomes applications for joining from new candidates and existing masons looking to join another lodge.
Visitors from other Lodges are also most welcome and we have many regular visitors who play an active role in the life of the lodge, making the atmosphere at meetings and dinner afterwards so convivial.

Freemasonry is a hobby and its important hobbies are fun, indeed several members are joining members who were such regular visitors to the lodge enjoying themselves so much they applied to join.
